Cooking Directions:
If you're having a bad chocolate craving fit, this recipe is guaranteed to satisfy the craving. For the first step in this wonderful recipe, you will want to take out a medium size saucepan, and heat it over medium low. Next add into the saucepan the chocolate chips, powdered sugar, corn syrup, and vanilla extract. Steadily stir the ingredients together, until you have a creamy and even chocolate sauce. This step should take roughly five to eight minutes to complete. Once you are done there, start spooning in your Sunmaid raisins, slowly stirring them in as they fall into the chocolate sauce. From there vigorously stir in the raisins until they are all completely covered in chocolate. Next take out a large cookie sheet, and cover it with wax paper. Now remove the saucepan from the burner, and star spooning onto the wax paper the raisin clumps. Using a fork, separate the raisins as best as you can so you don't have massive clumps. Once you have spread them out as best as you can, slide the cookie sheet into the refrigerator, and let the chocolate covered raisins chill for about three hours. Once they are chilled, you can continue to break them apart if you want individual chocolate covered raisins to serve, as opposed to small chocolate raisin clumps. Store at room temperature in a sealed glass cookie jar. They go well with a tall glass of cold 2% milk.
