Cooking Directions:
Take out a large cooking sheet, and covered the face of it with non stick foil. Now in a large frying pan or skillet, add in the light corn syrup, white sugar, and water. Cook the contents on medium high heat, and stir the mixture often. You will want to cook it until the mix has a hard thick consistency. Heat it to roughly 250 degrees, or until you can place a small drop of it into cold water, and the roplet will form a small hard ball. The consistency of the mix is important, so dripping it off a spoon back into the skillet, the sauce should be stringy like a thread of silk. Once your mixture has the right consistency, add in the salted peanuts. Once the whole mixture turns light brown, and almost starts to burn, take it off of the burner, at this point it will start to foam up. Now for the last stage of this recipe, you will want to spoon out bit size pieces of the mixture, and place them on the ungreased cooking sheet covered with foil. Once all the mixture has been added to the cooking sheet, let it all cool. If pieces are too large, you can break them down once they are cooled and hardened.
